My popular autumn family mini sessions in Croydon, South London, will be returning again this year!


If you love the warm autumn colours and the idea of a relaxed but quick photo session that results in some gorgeous images of your family then my autumn family mini sessions will be perfect for you! Taking place most likely on a Saturday in late October - early November (date TBC closer to the time) in Addington Hills, Croydon, these 20-minute sessions are just long enough to capture a lovely selection of essential family photos and individual portraits of your children. This is also the perfect time of year to get updated photos of your family and the kids that you can gift as Christmas presents to grandparents and other family members. You will receive your gallery within 3 weeks from the photo shoot leaving plenty of time to get your favourites printed (you can order your prints easily & conveniently via me) and framed well ahead of Christmas.


A summary of the mini session details:

  • 20 minute mini photo session
  • On a Saturday morning in late October - early November
  • Beautiful location with free parking on site
  • Suitable for families with max. 3 children aged 4 months upwards and for expectant couples
  • Pricing for 2026 sessions will be confirmed shortly before bookings open in early September


I've run my autumn family mini sessions in this same location for the past two years now and they have become extremely popular and everyone attending loves the location. Take a look at the sample images below and above from my past autumn mini sessions in the same location to get an idea of the type of images you will get.

Mini sessions are a great option for example if:

  • You've never had a professional photo shoot and feel nervous about booking a longer session
  • You've had a photo shoot not too long ago but would like some updated family photos
  • You're a busy family and finding the time for a 1-2 hour full photo shoot is difficult
  • The cost of a full, bespoke session is too big an investment right now


However, these mini sessions will not be the right option for you if:

  • You would like photos in a number of different settings/locations - as each slot is only 20 minutes long we will stay more or less in the same spot for the duration of your session however I will create lots of variety in your gallery in other ways as seen in the photos below
  • Your child is particularly shy - 20 minutes may not be long enough for them to warm up to a new person and create the images you hope for
  • You would like to include grandparents, other extended family or pets in your photos
  • You have a newborn baby


If any of the above apply to you please do get in touch to enquire about booking a bespoke, longer photo shoot which allows more flexibility.


After booking your slot you will receive information on how to prepare for the session, how to get there, tips on what to wear etc as well as a link to my client questionnaire so I can find out a bit more about your family.


Within 3 weeks from the photo shoot you will be able to view all the edited, water marked images from your session via a private online gallery. A family mini session gallery will typically include approx. 15-20 images. After you have reviewed your online gallery you can either pick your favourite 3 images included in the session fee or upgrade to the full package.


What if it rains? Your session will be rescheduled to a later time on the same day or another date. The decision to reschedule will be made on the morning of the session depending on the weather.
