Hi there, I'm Pauliina, a London newborn & family, personal branding and event photographer. Nice to meet you! I live in Crystal Palace in South London with my other half and our two little boys. I was born and raised in Finland but have lived in London for over 16 years now so this is what I call home and have done for a long time. In case you wondered about those two i's in my name, now you know the reason!
I've had a 'proper' camera ever since I was teenager and always enjoyed taking photos especially of people. Event photography is something I've been doing for over 10 years and still happily do occasionally but it wasn't until my children were born that I started really getting into family, newborn and maternity photography and was inspired to turn my long term hobby into a business after years of practice. It really brings me so much joy to capture authentic memories for families to enjoy for a lifetime.
Since becoming a photography business owner myself, I've also dived into personal branding and headshot photography as I love helping other people - especially fellow mums - showcase their own businesses through high quality photography.

My approach
My approach is very natural and relaxed and my aim is to capture photos that show the special connection between you and your loved ones. There will be no cheesy smiles or stiff posing but I will gently guide and direct you so you don’t need to worry about what to do in front of the camera.
At every photo shoot I take a combination of gently prompted and totally candid images to give you great variety in your gallery. I shoot on location which depending on the type of session can be either in your home or outdoors.
As a mum myself I'm particularly passionate about getting mums in front of my camera because let's face it, you're most often the one taking photos and hardly in them yourself. I strongly believe we owe it to our children to be included in those memories. You deserve to be in photos too!

Pauliina is a London-based lifestyle photographer offering newborn, family, maternity, personal branding and event photography services. She covers a 10 mile radius from her home in Crystal Palace including all of South London and Central London, Bromley, Croydon and Sutton. For photo shoots further afield an additional travel fee may apply.
