Natural, joyful photos of your family as you are right now

Is your phone full of photos of the kids and husband but you're in hardly any of them? As a mum of two myself I feel very strongly about getting more mums in front of my camera. Us mums do so much for our children yet we are rarely in the family photos because we are usually the ones taking them. I believe every mum deserves beautiful photos together with their children to capture those special memories, not just for ourselves, but also for our children when they grow up. A family photo shoot with the whole family or a motherhood photo shoot for just you and your baby, child or children will give you exactly that. Your children will only be little for a very short time so right now is the perfect time for a photo shoot - not next year or when you've lost those extra few pounds you might be worrying about.


Your family photo shoot take place either outdoors or at your home depending on your preference, the time of year and age of your children. If you have a baby or a young toddler I always recommend an in-home session during the colder months. Your session will last up to about 2 hours and it will be an opportunity for you to focus on your family without distractions, snuggle together, relax and just be yourselves. Please don’t stress about the kids misbehaving or not looking at the camera. I have two very active little ones myself so I know that young kids rarely sit still and will never force them to do that. Instead, we will make it a relaxed couple of hours of playing together as a family so I can capture their real giggles which are so much more precious than fake smiles. Grandparents are also welcome to join your family photo shoot!
