A maternity photo shoot with me is all about celebrating the new life growing inside you and capturing the anticipation you feel about meeting your baby.

You are welcome to bring your partner along and if you already have a child or children, feel free to include them too so we can document this special chapter in your lives that you're going through together right now. Or for a calmer session you can choose to attend the maternity photo shoot on your own allowing us to focus on just you and your gorgeous bump. Growing a little human being inside your body is such an incredible thing and deserves all the attention. If you are feeling insecure about your changing pregnant body, a maternity photo shoot can be a huge confidence booster as it will help you see the beauty of it through someone else's eyes. Don't worry if you're not used to being in front of the camera, especially on your own. I will do all the hard work for you by gently guiding you into the most flattering positions and angles.

The ideal time for a maternity photo shoot is between 28-35 weeks of gestation however sometimes for whatever reason it may not work for you to do it during these weeks in which case it can be flexible. We want your bump to be nice and round but not leave it too late as you might be starting to feel uncomfortable and there is also an increased risk that you go into labour before the photo shoot. Your maternity session can take place outdoors or in your own home, whichever you prefer. If you choose to do it outdoors I highly recommend we schedule your maternity photo shoot for golden hour 1-2 hours before the sunset (timing of which obviously depends on the time of year) to give your images that magical glow.
