If you are here because you're expecting a baby or your little bundle has just arrived, congratulations! What an exciting, special time this is for you. But the newborn phase will pass sooner than you may realise - babies are only tiny for a very short time and within just a few months your days with the little one will look and feel quite different from those early days. With a newborn photo shoot I can help you press pause on this unique chapter and capture the fleeting moments with your newborn baby for you and your family to treasure for a lifetime.
My approach to newborn photography is relaxed, natural and authentic. I don’t use any props or place babies in unnatural poses because in my opinion newborn babies are perfect just as they are. The session will take place in the comfort of your own home and involve the whole family so I can capture the love and connection between you at this special time when a tiny little human being has just entered your lives – whether it’s your first baby or fourth.
Using natural light only I will photograph your family in a relaxed way which involves very little posing at the camera. I will gently direct you to make the most of the light available and to create a varied gallery of images that show the love and connection within your family. The session will be led by the baby so whenever they need a feed, nappy change or settling we will take a break, or if you're happy I may capture some candid shots of these everyday moments too. There is no rush whatsoever so feel free to put the kettle on and just enjoy a slow morning together with your nearest and dearest while I do the work.
I always recommend getting in touch soon after your 20 week scan to book your session to guarantee availability. We will pencil in a date within a couple of weeks from your due date and adjust it closer to the time depending on when your baby arrives. But if you've already given birth and are looking to book a session as soon as possible, do get in touch and I will do my best to fit you in.

I have a simple and transparent pricing structure with my minimum package starting from £300. You will be able to decide AFTER your photo shoot, once you have seen the full gallery, whether you wish to upgrade to purchase additional images or the full gallery.

Pauliina is a London-based lifestyle photographer offering newborn, family, maternity, personal branding and event photography services. She covers a 10 mile radius from her home in Crystal Palace including all of South London and Central London, Bromley, Croydon and Sutton. For photo shoots further afield an additional travel fee may apply.
