If you're looking for a relaxed and fun outdoor photoshoot with your family this summer to bottle up those happy summer memories for the dark winter months, you've come to the right place. As a London family photographer, my aim is always to make your session an enjoyable experience for the whole family and to create timeless and joyful images for you to treasure for many years to come.
This summer, I'll be offering a limited number of outdoor sunset photoshoots on selected weekday evenings in a number of parks across South London. Your session will last up to 1 hour which means we can capture a great variety of photos whilst keeping it relaxed and not having to rush - but you will still get the kids to bed at a decent time. And the best part? After the session your kids are likely to fall asleep in the car or buggy on the way home meaning that you can just carry them into bed and skip the bedtime routine for one night - what's not to love!? - Timings: Sessions begin at 6.30pm
- Who is it for: Suitable for family and maternity sessions with children aged 4 months upwards - or without children if you're expecting your first baby or would like a session just for the two of you to celebrate an engagement, anniversary - or just because!

- Cost: £450 including 15 digital images from the full gallery (the equivalent package is usually £545 for weekday sessions). Upgrade option available.

Sessions take place in carefully selected outdoor locations across South London, including parks and green spaces near Crystal Palace, Dulwich, Herne Hill, Streatham and Beckenham - chosen for beautiful evening light and plenty of room for children to explore naturally.

These summer sunset sessions are a great option for you if any of the following apply:

- You are a laid back family willing to let go of your usual routine for one evening
- You adore photos with warm tones (aka golden hour light!)
- You're a busy family and your weekends are often booked up
- You are looking for great value for money
Your full session fee is due at the time of booking to secure the date. Shortly after booking your session you will receive information on how to prepare for the session, tips on what to wear etc as well as a link to my client questionnaire so I can find out a bit more about your family so I can prepare for our time together. After your photo shoot has taken place, you will receive a link within one month to view all the edited, water marked images from your session via a private online gallery. The full gallery will include minimum 25 images. Once you have reviewed your online gallery you can either pick your favourite 15 images included in the session fee or upgrade to the full gallery for an additional £150 which includes a £50 print credit to order premium quality prints via my print store.

FAQ
I love the idea of a sunset session but I'm worried my kids will be too cranky in the evening. What's your advice?
I hear you. However I know from experience that most children, if given the option, will be over the moon to play and run around on a field with their favourite people (that's you!) - instead of being at home getting ready to go to bed. Once you have booked your session, I will send you some tried and tested tips on how to make an evening photo shoot stress-free for everyone especially if you have young children.
Can we do a sunset photoshoot in a different park?
These weekday summer sunset sessions are only available in the locations listed above. They are locations I am very familiar with and know how the light falls. This also means that I can be efficient in shooting there and not waste your precious time walking around the park!
Can grandparents or other extended family join the session?
The sessions are for maximum 6 immediate family members only. If you would like to include grandparents or other extended family in your photos please do get in touch to enquire about booking a full priced session which allows more flexibility in terms of the number of people involved, duration, timing and location of your photo shoot.
Are these sessions suitable to attend with a newborn baby?
I'm afraid the minimum age for these sessions is 4 months. My newborn sessions always take place at your home where you are most comfortable and have everything you need at your fingertips. Newborn sessions typically take 2-2.5 hours as there are usually a lot of breaks for feeding, nappy changes and settling so a 1 hour session could end up being a stressful experience which I absolutely don't want you to have. Why should I choose a sunset session over a daytime outdoor session?
There is something very special about the golden hour light and as a photographer, it is my absolute favourite time of the day to shoot outdoors. The warm light creates a magical glow in your images that simply cannot be replicated in daytime sunshine. It is also the perfect opportunity to make the most of the long summer evenings outdoors as a family - what's not to love! Having said that, if evenings are just not convenient for you please do get in touch to enquire about a daytime session.
What happens if it rains?
If it rains your session will be rescheduled for a mutually convenient date. The decision will be made by the photographer on the morning of the session based on the weather forecast. Please note that your session will go ahead as long as it's dry - even if overcast.
