Imagine this. It's a beautiful summer evening and you are in the park with your family enjoying the best of British summer. Everyone is feeling relaxed and the kids are having fun running around wild in the magical evening light. You might have brought a little picnic with you - maybe even a game to play together. Wouldn't you want to capture some of this warm summer feeling so you can remember it on those cold and dark winter days when summer is a distant memory?
Well, you'll be pleased to hear I can do exactly that for you. This summer, I'm offering outdoor sunset sessions on selected weekday evenings in July and August in a number of parks across South London. Your session will last up to 1 hour which means we can capture a great variety of photos whilst keeping it relaxed and not having to rush - but you will still get the kids to bed at a decent time. You will also get 5 more photos included in your session fee than what I usually offer! And the best part? After the session your kids are likely to fall asleep in the car or buggy on the way home meaning that you can just carry them into bed and skip the bedtime routine for one night - what's not to love!? Take a look at the images above and below for some examples of the kind of magic that can only be created in the warm evening light!
- When: On selected weekday evenings (mostly Mondays & Tuesdays) in July and August. Full list of available dates can be found in the booking calendar.
- Duration: Up to 1 hour
- Timings: Sessions begin at 6.30pm or 7pm depending on the date
- Who is it for: Suitable for family and maternity sessions with children aged 4 months upwards - or without children if you're expecting your first baby or would like a session just for the two to celebrate an engagement, anniversary - or just because!

- Cost: Session fee £300 which includes 10 high resolution digital images (usually £450 for weekday sessions). Upgrade option available, see details further down. Secure your slot with a £150 retainer and pay the rest minimum one week before your session.

Sounds interesting but your're worried that your children will be too cranky by 7pm? I hear you. However most children, if given the option, will be over the moon to play and run around on a field with their favourite people (that's you!) - instead of being at home getting ready to go to bed. Most of the dates on offer are during the school holidays so if the kids go to bed a little later, it's probably not the only end of the world. If you have a baby or a young toddler, you will know best whether an evening session is doable. Once you have booked your session, I will also send you some tried and tested tips on how to make an evening photo shoot stress-free for everyone.
These summer sunset sessions are a great option for you if any of the following apply:

- You've had a photo shoot before but would like some updated photos
- You're a busy family and your weekends are often booked up

Please note that these sessions are for maximum 6 immediate family members only. If you would like to include grandparents or other extended family in your photos or you have a newborn baby (my newborn sessions always take place at your home) please do get in touch to enquire about booking a full priced session which allows more flexibility in terms of the number of people involved, duration, timing and location of your photo shoot.
Slots can be secured with a £150 retainer and the remaining balance of £150 will be due minimum one week before your session. After booking your slot you will receive information on how to prepare for the session, tips on what to wear etc as well as a link to my client questionnaire so I can find out a bit more about your family so I can prepare for our time together.
Within 3 weeks from the photo shoot you will be able to view all the edited, water marked images from your session via a private online gallery. The full gallery will include minimum 25 images. After you have reviewed your online gallery you can either pick your favourite 10 images included in the session fee or upgrade to the full gallery for an additional £150. You will also have the option to order high quality prints in various sizes should you wish to.
Please note that your session will go ahead even if it's cloudy but rest assured that the light is still beautiful on an overcast evening. If it rains, your session will be rescheduled for a mutually convenient date. The decision will be made by the photographer on the morning of the session based on the weather forecast.
